Bliss collection, Spring 2019 - BL19102

Stunning silk mikado dress worn only 4 November 2022. An absolute dream of a dress. I felt amazing and got so many compliments.

Purchased from Helen Rodrigues in Neutral Bay Sydney. It is the sample size in the store that I ordered brand new made to order. US 8. I am a 10/12 aus size and my waist had to be 73cm to fit the dress.

The v-neck front was incredibly comfortable and didn't move due to the natural weight of the skirt. I am a cup size C and had slim inserts added in to ensure support.

Underneath the silk skirt there's a tulle underskirt that created the dress's volume.

Currently getting professional dry cleaned by bridal expert.

Dress can be tried on in Brisbane or Sydney.

Alterations

I am 173cm and was wearing 11cm heels so if you are shorter than me then the length will be fine. You may need to take up more.

The straps have been altered and shortened. Keep in mind I have a long torso so they still may be long on someone with an average torso.

The original design had a bow attached to an additional train so when you take the train off the bow goes too. We altered this and separated the train from the bow so I clipped the bow on and it stayed all night without the heaviness of the extra train. I still have this train which can be clipped on but in all the images above I didn’t end up wearing it.
