The Dress

This romantic, effortless v-neck gown has intricate illusion lace, glistening beads, a bodice trimmed in sparkle with pearl buttons down the back, and a frothy tulle skirt that extends into a sweep train. It comes with a tulle sash belt. The dress is from Watters From the Wtoo by Watters line. I purchased it in late 2018 for a February 2019 wedding.

From the first moment I tried on this dress, I knew it was the one. I felt elegant, comfortable, and beautiful wearing it. The dress was lightweight and flowed with me as I moved. I didn't have a single worry about a wardrobe malfunction, tripping, or anything else with this dress.

I wore this dress the day of my wedding for first-look pictures (outside over some grass and a bit of fresh snow), the ceremony (indoors), and the reception (indoors). The dress was worn for around 10 hours, although I'm not much of a dancer, so it was mostly walking around and sitting. There was a tiny 1-inch tear in the tulle in the back when it was caught in the zipper, but this was repaired professionally when I got the dress altered and is not noticeable. I had the dress professionally cleaned and preserved soon after the wedding, and it has not been touched since.

Alterations

Altered for B cup with cups added (no need to wear a bra!), the front of the dress was hemmed for 5' 6" (with heels) height, and bustle was added.
