The Dress

This is the beautiful boho Luca dress (now discontinued) by the New Zealand designer Rue de Seine, which I wore in summer 2022. It consists of a backless silk underslip with a distinctive asymmetric hem that rises at the front to show your legs. The overdress is made of incredibly soft net that is embellished with tiny sparkling beads and embroidered with a leaf pattern. The beads shimmer slightly as you walk. Like the rest of the gown, the embroidered train is very light and moving feels like a dream. It was so comfortable to wear. The underslip is 96% silk and is blended with spandex, which gives it some stretch and means it fits a UK 12 as well as a 10. I'm a 12 and I wore it without any alterations other than having it shortened slightly to fit my height (172cm).

I bought the dress for the reduced price of £1200 because it had some tears in the netting. I had these professionally repaired by a bridal seamstress, and because of the embroidery and how the dress hangs the repairs weren't noticeable. It's been dry-cleaned and is now ready to go and make another bride feel as special as I did. It comes with a lot of happiness attached! I'm open to offers on price.
