The Dress

This custom made Paolo Sebastian gown was designed and hand crafted in Adelaide in 2022 in direct consultation with Paul Vasileff and his team.

Each of Paul's gowns are meticulously handcrafted from the finest fabrics. The design, construction and fitting process took three full months.

The brief for this dress was feminine, floaty and ethereal.

The gown has an a-line silhouette made from the softest tulle, with a delicate, sheer, one shoulder design. Paolo Sebastian specialises in corsetry and this gown is no exception. The flattering silhouette is made possible by strong boning throughout the top half of the dress and a sturdy waist tape. The dress truly holds you in in all of the right places, yet is incredibly comfortable and quickly moulds to the wearer's movement and shape. The corset is done up in the same way as a bra, and so the dress is easily adjusted for different sizes and has a lot of 'give' in terms of the size it will suit best.

The dress features a nude bodice draped in silky white tulle, and an attachment for an approx. 1.7m removable tulle cape off one shoulder (pictured in beach photo). Though the back of the dress is somewhat low, the fabric drapes effortlessly above the bodice in the most flattering way.

Adding to its mystique, the gown is hand stitched with custom Paolo Sebastian beading in the form of little stars.

Veil and cape are not included but happy to discuss including them.
