About the Dress

For sale a beautifully elegant Mia Mia by Marguerite Hannah Legato wedding dress.

Dress was purchased for £1400 but I'm selling for £500.

Dress was worn once on my magical wedding day and I loved every minute wearing it. I hope it can go to another bride who will enjoy wearing it as much as I did.

Dress has been professionally dry cleaned and comes boxed in acid free paper to protect the dress. A full length dress cover to protect the dress while hanging is also included.

Dress is in excellent condition with just a couple of tiny marks on the inside hem of the dress which you can't see when wearing it. It is in far better condition than most sample dresses out there and the dry cleaners did a fantastic job getting out the marks on the bottom of the dress after a whole day walking and dancing. It really is a fantastic dress and great deal.

It is a full length, strapless sweetheart neckline, satin dress with pleated bodice as well as pleating lower down the dress below the waist. There is a stunning pearl detail around the waist and 'button' detail up the back of the dress for a lovely touch. These really caught my eye when I went for the dress. There is also a lovely small train. It is a wonderfully classic, elegant and timeless style which is so comfortable to wear and not too heavy either.

I wore this for my destination wedding in Portugal as I wanted something elegant but not too heavy to wear all day in the heat and it was a fantastic choice but it would be perfect for a UK wedding too given the classic style and full length satin material.

There is a zip up the back of the dress to get in and out with ease but I still felt very secure in the dress. The fake 'button' detail on the back of the dress adds a lovely touch.

Dress was purchased as a size 12 but I lost weight and it was altered around the hips, waist, length and bust so it is now more like a size 10 or 8. My height is 5"4 and I wore a small heel.

Approximate key measurements of the dress are as follows:

- Length from front of bust taken from middle 'v' of the sweetheart neckline to the hem is 1m 32cm
- Waist at beading area laid flat is 36cm
- Bust laid flat is 41cm
- Hips Laid flat are 52cm at widest part
- Length of back from top of buttons to end of train is 1m 58cm.
