The Dress

This simple but elegant dress is unique as it was custom designed for me, combining elements of several different gowns from When Freddie Met Lilly. It is made from the most beautiful fabrics - the outer dress is an off white Georgia lace and the underlay is in milky white poly silk. The underlay, also lined with the same fabric, has a sweet heart neckline and is a tighter fit while the outer lace skirt is soft and flowing giving a silhouette of your body shape as you walk. The whimsical leaves on the neckline and end of the capped sleeves were hand placed and it has a back zip which sits underneath the fabric covered buttons. It was comfortable and moved beautifully when dancing.

I wore 7cm heels with it. I am 160cm so with shoes, I was 167cm tall.

The dress was $2,994 in total, including the cost of having the hem taken up and a couple of other alterations.

It's been worn for my wedding in late July 2022 and has been professionally dry cleaned and stored in its hanging bag. Pick up is Ferny Hills, Brisbane.
