The Dress

This Lee Petra Grebenau gown was purchased from their NYC flagship store and worn once during my January 2020 wedding. This is the strapless Bella dress, with custom and detachable straps.

Also included with the dress are original pieces from Lee Petra including a thin belt, skirt lining that can be worn for a less transparent appearance, and extra 3D beaded appliqué that would look amazing added to a veil.

The top layer is completely hand-beaded, the middle layer is white Italian lace, and the base layer is nude silk. I had extra beading added to portions of the dress as I wanted to maintain the sheer appearance of the dress but also increase coverage in some areas. As you can tell in the photos, the pronounced contrast between the beading and the silk layer was accentuated by natural light but still appeared subtle in other photos. If you are looking for a less sheer look, the lining that is included can be worn. The dress has boning throughout the bust, shaped cups, a built in body suit, and a structured train.

Since all of Lee Petra Grebenau's dresses are semi-custom, there is not an actual size on the dress but I was fitted as a 0. The dress was purchased for $10,170.
