Drop waist gowns are so in right now! This dress is "in" but it's also timeless. The champagne color gives skin a warm glow compared to a washed out complexion that often accompanies a bright white fabric. The dress was worn during a wedding and reception in 2015. It has been dry cleaned, with no tears or stains. The inside hem of the dress has a few scuff like marks, but nothing visible from the outside. The dress needs steamed to really bring the flowers back to life. The ruching hides any tummy and gives a flattering silhouette. There are two zippers to the dress; the first one acts as a corset, and the second zips up the rest of the dress. It really cinches the waist. There is also a bustle that has color coordinated ties. When the bustle is left down, the dress drags the floor dramatically. I love this dress, but have decided to go ahead and part ways with it and let someone else love it. It has been kept in a non-smoking, pet free home.
