For years, I pictured myself as a mermaid bride. When the time came for me to try wedding dresses, no matter the designer, no mermaid dress ''sparked'' joy. I started to believe all those teared eyes moments that brides experience on tv were an exaggeration. Then I tried this dress. When I first saw it hanging on showroom I thought it was beautiful, but not really my style it was under ''A line'' and I really wanted a mermaid dress. I decided to give it a shot since I had nothing to lose and none of the mermaid dresses were working for me.
It was surreal, looking at myself on this dress it hit me.. this is it, I'm getting married, I cried tears of joy, I've found my dress...
This beautiful dress is so light and airy. It gives the illusion of not wearing much underneath, even with all the layers of beautiful tulle, you can still see your figure, and it's the most amazing feeling. Perfect for a summer wedding.
Alterations
Lenght of the dress, I'm 5'-6'' and left an additional 4 inches for the heel. I made some adjustment at the top as it was a bit loose around the breast, also added bustle.
