The Dress

This Galia Lahav dress was my dream dress! I wanted a dress that matched my personality, so I naturally gravitated toward this Galia dress because of it’s uniqueness, quality, and gorgeous detailing. It truly checked all my boxes.

I went to 12 different bridal shops along the west coast before I said yes to this dress. I found this dress to be extremely flattering and chic. The dress outlines your figure without being too revealing. The low back and hand beaded long train were show stopping.

I am having a hard time parting ways with this dress but am so excited for the next bride! My dress is in great condition and has been professionally cleaned. One minor thing you will have to replace is the bustle button on the back of the dress( which is an easy fix). Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!

Alterations

I did customize my Galia dress quite a bit to make it a little more conservative by taking up the plunging neckline and adding lining. I had Galia Lahav customize the neckline and teamed up with Tailored Maid in San Francisco to add a premium silk lining throughout the dress so it wouldn’t be see through. The customizations ended up costing an extra $2,000 but were worth every penny. I felt incredible in my dress on my big day. I felt that the alterations didn’t take away from the authenticity of the dress, but did make me feel more comfortable from the second I walked down the aisle to breaking it down on the dance floor at my reception.
