The Dress

The Raquel Gown by Rachel Gilbert is a hand embellished gown with low back. Perfect for the chic modern bride.

Label Size 1 from Rachel Gilbert (size 8 normally) and when I wore it I was on the slimmer side of AU Size 8.

I had the capped sleeved tailored on as I wanted a more formal style.
There is a separate detachable tulle wedding train decorated lace around waist, which hooked on to the dress for the church ceremony part.
The train absolutely made the dress and best part was I could take it off after the ceremony and formal photos were done!

Details of the train are:

4 layers of tulle
Lace around the waist
The back length of this train from а waistline is 2.0 meters (80'').
The length in front of this train from а waistline is 1.2 meters (47'').

The train is made of soft tulle, which is attached to the tulle belt.

The train allow was $550 - hand made.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned for $580 and in a box for pick up only from either Balmain or Kellyville (my parents house)

Please note that unfortunately the very bottom edge of the dress had mud on it and the dry cleaners we unable to remove it completely so it is a bit stained. You might have to have it cut and tailored if you don't want to see it. It is the very bottom so it depending on how you feel about it.

My height is 163 cm so I was dragging the dress under me.

3. Hook for the train at the back.
