Beautiful lace sheath gown by Oscar de la Renta.
The Oscar de la Renta Gavi gown is a corded lace sheath gown with a bateau neckline. Stunning sheer sleeves made of alencon lace with corded rosette patterns. The gown has no construction and is a true slip dress, lined with an ivory silk lining. The back of the gown is a deep scalloped v-neck. All finishings have an eyelash lace trim and the train is a sweep length.
This gown has not been altered. It is in sample condition and requires cleaning and lace repair in multiple areas. The most apparent imperfection (by far) is shown in the 7th photo. I bought this dress at an Oscar de la Renta sample sale in NYC with the plan to wear it for my own wedding, but changed my mind because I can’t stop shopping lol.
It’s truly stunning and timeless! This is the heirloom gown your daughter and granddaughter will actually WANT to wear.
