The Dress

This dress was so perfect for my outdoor wedding! When I described what I wanted for my wedding dress, it looked nothing like this, but when I tried this dress on I was speechless. It's not too heavy, it breathes well, and I could easily move around and dance in it. The train made for dramatic photos and my spouse was stunned when they saw me.

The designer describes the colors of this dress as "Ivory/Champagne/Dust/Skin" and I thought that was so silly. Per the designer, it's "beaded lace with sequins, shimmer tulle, Chantilly lace, lined bodice, buttons along train." I didn't want a dress that was shiny, and this really fit the bill, because even though there are some sequins and beads it's not garish or flashy. The buttons go down the back and all the way to the end of the train, which I loved.

There is one tiny rip in one layer of the tulle at the bottom but it won't be noticeable to anyone but you because there are several layers of tulle that make up the skirt.

This dress was worn once and then it was professionally cleaned and preserved (at a $500 cost). It will come in a wedding preservation box.

Alterations

Dress length was shortened in the front for my height and straps were also shortened. A bustle was added and I can send videos of how to bustle it. I also had them raise the back of the bodice a few inches so it wasn't so low on my back.
