The Dress

From Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2022 collection, this Rose gown is a work of art. Constructed from a luxurious silk, this gown features a ruched bodice, and pickups and hand-rolled silk roses throughout the full, long skirt. This gown was customized to include five additional hand-rolled silk roses, beyond what was included in the designer's sample. The fabric has a spectacular shine and flows beautifully with movement. This gown was truly a joy to wear! I felt like a princess in it on my wedding day.

The gown is in excellent condition - I wore it for only a few hours during photos, the ceremony, and the first dance. It has been professionally dry cleaned.

I wore it with a cathedral-length satin-tipped Forever Veil also by Monique Lhuillier, and would be happy to sell the veil along with the gown for an additional fee. The veil was originally priced at $1,050.

Alterations

The gown was professionally altered by the alterations department at Monique Lhuiller's flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York. It was taken in slightly at the bust and waist, and hemmed to a 130mm heel (I am 5'2 without heels). The hem can be let out by about six inches. I also added a french bustle, which can be easily removed or changed.
