The Dress

The dress is stunning from all angles. It has a beaded, see-through bodice, with a ballgown silhouette that consists of 4 different fabric layers. While the majority of the dress is white, there is a sand colored layer that makes the white pop. Not to mention, the best part, IT HAS POCKETS!
While the dress has many layers and tons of detail, I didn't feel weighed down or hindered by its design. Our wedding was in March at an indoor-outdoor venue and I never felt too hot or cold while wearing the dress. The dress did not come in contact with any makeup, perfumes, lotions, tanning solutions, etc. All zippers and buttons work as designed. All beading and details remain intact.

There are a few signs of wear near the bottom. As you will gather from the "alterations" description, about 0.5" of fabric was on the floor during the ceremony and pictures. Therefore, there is 1, relatively small, area where the outer-most layer of fabric doesn't like to bustle, however the other 3 layers still bustle as intended. Due to the flowing nature of the dress, this bit of loose fabric goes completely unnoticed when worn. It could easily be fixed by hand, or during alterations.

Additionally, I did not get the dress dry cleaned, as we left for our honeymoon right after the wedding and it never made it on the post-wedding to-do list. If this is a deterrent, please know I am willing to negotiate a lower price to accommodate this inconvenience. Additionally, there will be no extra charges applied for shipping costs.

Alterations

The dress was altered to accommodate an individual who is 5'7" (I am 5'4.5" and wore 2" heels). D-cup inserts were sown into the bodice. A ballgown silhouette slip should be worn to make the dress look full. I am happy to provide the one I wore, free of charge. Additionally, the dress was altered to enable bustling. I am including the cost of alterations and taxes in the "retail price".
