The Dress

This was the most perfect princess dress of my dreams!! It breaks my heart to sell it, but I don't have reason to keep it. It would make me so happy to sell this dress so that someone else can feel as special as I did on my wedding day! I received so many compliments that this dress was the most beautiful wedding dress people had ever seen.

The photos don't do it justice. I added a video of our dance so that you can better see how beautifully it flows and moves, but nothing compares to how stunning it is in person.

It's a corset top with a pleated a-line skirt, which is very flattering. This dress is light and flowy, and was very comfortable to wear!

The dress also has the perfect amount of sparkle which is not captured as well in the photos. Not too much, but it's beautiful in the sunlight. There are sparkles on the flowers that cascade down the bodice, and sparkles on the lower flowers by the waist in the second layer of tulle for a subtle shimmer.

I'm open to offers for this dress as well!

Alterations

I had $800 in alternations that made the dress look much better. This includes the bustle and hem, so that should hopefully save you on those alterations costs. Here's what was changed:

The original dress boning went really high up on the back so it hit right below my shoulder blade and pinched my back/armpit area in an unflattering way. We fixed this by lowering the boning so that it sits nicely and doesn't pinch at all. The bow also sits slightly lower than the original, which I think looks better.

There was a huge gap in the bust area (I couldn't raise my arms without coming out), so we also adjusted the bust of dress so that it sits nicely on the chest area without the gap. I am a 34B and it fit nicely, but there would definitely still be room if you have a little larger bust size than I do.

This dress is a Berta size 40, which on their site says 6-8, but it fits a true street size 4 after the back/bust alterations noted above (see my measurements).

Hemmed for 5'6" and a 2.5 inch heel.

Bustle buttons and loops added.
