The Dress

KHYA Leon. Such an amazing dress - I had a really really hard time finding something I liked, so I felt so lucky to stumble on this one, and hoping someone else can enjoy it as much as I did. The fabric is super heavy and stunning, and it looks amazing in the light. Definitely not the most traditional bridal look - I felt like I was attending the Oscars - which I loved!

The dress comes with two slips - the one I wore, which goes right down to the floor, and an alternative option which has a cheeky cut.

The dress was a size 10 originally but it was loose on my top half so I had it altered. So around the butt it’s ~a 10, but it would be closer to an 8 around the waist and boobs. I’ve provided my measurements to help. It’s also quite stretchy so there’s a fair bit of give in the material.

Very good condition - there are a few small pulls in the fabric, but not noticeable when on. I can send more pics if desired (just got all the wedding photos back so I can bombard you with dress pics if you like 😂)

Based in Wellington for try ons, I’m also in Auckland quite a bit so happy to bring it up with me. It’ll be with the dry cleaner for a few more weeks, hopefully done sometime in June.

Alterations

Taken in at one shoulder and around the top half and waist. This could be unpicked if desired.
