The Dress

Brand new, one of a kind, Justin Alexander Aidan dress in sand, ivory, silver. Dress is double lined with extremely soft, stretch, sand fabric, topped with a gorgeous delicate ivory Chantilly lace, and finished with beautiful ivory floral appliqués, silver stitch work, sequins, and pearls. The sheer chapel train has ivory buttons running the entire length of the dress. An internal four hook waist stay pulls your natural waist in and holds the dress up. Boning from the hips to the top gives the dress an amazing shape. The dress falls away from the body after the hips giving it a really romantic look, but it could accommodate an underskirt if you wanted a fuller flared shape. The shape, combined with the stretch of the liner, makes this dress easy to shimmy up to use the washroom.

I adore this dress but ended up eloping in a tropical setting and it just didn’t fit the venue change. My measurements were 39" bust, 31" waist, 39" hips when purchased. The dress would accommodate a smaller chest more comfortably but it did fit well, with body tape, for my size. I am 5'6" and purchased 4" heels to wear with this.

Alterations

Dress has had extensive customizations. That being said, the fit was not adjusted and the dress is a true size 8 according to the designer size chart. Top of the dress was custom done to create a low back and sweetheart neckline. Buttons were also added down the entire length of the chapel train. The boning in the bodice and hidden zipper with button coverage are all intact. Interior of the lining was let out the tiniest bit at the thighs so the dress is easy to pull up, but the exterior lining and top layers are untouched. The dress has a wrist loop, finger loop, and adjustable height bustle. Simple, ivory, 10' veil included with the dress as well as a garment bag.
