ICONIC STUNNING DRESS
Sleeveless classical wedding dress in mikado ivory silk with princess cut and V-neck.

Structured cuts of glossy Mikado silk define this elegant, plunge neckline and cleanly folded princess skirt, united in a gorgeous waistband of white pearls and crystal beads.
It has a gorgeous Royal train that drops from a V-back with beautiful silk buttons.
Dry cleaned with no stain marks. Immaculate.

I felt fabulous in my wedding dress, truely stunning and very special.
Honestly, an incredibly comfortable dress and no bra required as well structured.

Fun features: the cleverly concealed pockets were brilliant as I could pop my lipstick in one, tissue in the other.

The seamstress that made some small alterations (see below) stitched a little elastic loop at the bottom of the train so that I could attach to my wrist or to the buttons on the back of my dress so I could dance on the day. She also added a little blue bow - for that ‘something blue’!

I’ve also included my veil which was custom made. I wanted a horsehair style veil which means it makes the veil slightly stiff at the edges to ensure it does not fall on your face (and smudge your makeup!). I also had beautiful lace added to the bottom of the veil. The was my way of paying homage to the New Zealand silver fern - my husband is a kiwi.

Wanting to sell the dress and veil to a lovely new home as I now live in New Zealand. My mother, based in the Uk, is kindly posting it on my behalf.

Alterations

Waist taken in a couple of centimetres and same off the length at front of dress so hung perfectly to the floor on the day. I wore flat pumps on the day.
