The Dress

Hello! (: I just bought this dress brand new from Alexandra's Bridal in Fall River, MA and fell in LOVE with it. When I bought the dress our plan was to get married in Florida in June of 2024, we just recently decided to get married in New England to make it easier for our older family members. When I bought this dress I was looking for something simple, incredibly flattering, and elegant, and that is EXACTLY what I found with this dress. I am now getting married when it is chilly out so I am looking for a long sleeve dress or something a little warmer.

As for this dress, my stylist Sandra pulled it off the rack and it was still in the bag it was shipped in, they hadn't even posted it or taken it out of the plastic yet. Lucky for you, that is the exact the condition the dress is in. I tried it on, fell in love with it, and it hasn't come out of the dress bag since I left the bridal boutique from the rack in February, even still has the tag on it.

A little about how the dress feels/fits. The straps are spaghetti and they are sturdy, the dress is not heavy and moves beautifully and feels light, while still feeling super luxurious. The corset top has boning in it so it just sucks you in, in the right places but still allows flexibility to breathe, sit, and EAT. The back has a small white zipper at the top so it is so easy to step into, but there are buttons from the top down and feels so elegant, we were all in love with the back of the dress. There have been no alterations at all made on the dress. We did a mock bustle both American style and French bustle and both looked beautiful with no awkward bunching. You don't need to wear a bra with it as the corset is supportive enough and I obviously wore the wrong underwear with it, but the stylist recommended a silk pair or longer underwear (or commando).
