The Dress

This was the very first dress I tried on, and it was love at first sight! It's simple, sophisticated and elegant, with a sexy and tasteful sweet-heart neckline. The color is a beautiful ivory. I wore it with a cathedral length veil, and I added a little sparkle at the waistline with a thin belt I purchased on etsy. Belt is not included, it's my keepsake! I love every part of it, but I think my FAVORITE is the trail of buttons that runs down the back (with a hidden zipper so you don't actually have to button each one!)

Dress is in very good condition, but there are some very small snags at the waistline where the sparkly belt was removed. However, these can easily be covered with a ribbon sash or belt. The rest of the front of the dress is pristine. On the back bottom of the dress, there are some light, but visible water stains and light dirt smudges on the bottom hem and on the 7 bottom buttons. All of this would easily be covered by a cathedral length veil (which is what I wore) during the ceremony and then once you bustle the dress for the reception, you won't even notice these other slight imperfections.

I felt like a BRIDE in this dress. If you've tried on wedding dresses, you probably know what I mean by this. Some dresses I tried on were beautiful, but the just didn't feel "bridal" to me. I went back to my first love of a dress and have absolutely NO regrets!

Alterations

I had the dressed shortened for 5' 10" (I am 5'8" and I wore a 2" heel.) I'm a 34B and had the bodice taken in about 1/2" on each side and cups added (which could be easily removed.) There was also three-point bustle added.
