The Dress

Sadly parting ways with my Prea James Cara gown. No point it sitting in my wardrobe when it can be worn again and bring as much joy to another bride as it did to me.

Purchased from Bluebell Bridal in Melbourne CBD. Label: size 9 (top and bottom), slight alterations were made to my usual size 8 size. Minor pulls in the silk (nature of fabric).

Dry cleaned at Syndal’s Bridal Dry Cleaners (recommended by Bluebell Bridal) who did an immacualte job. Can not find any sign of wear or marks. Can provide certificate.

Can post at buyers expense.

Veil can be included at additional cost.
2 tier, flat set on comb, raw edge, circle cut, soft tulle, ivory.
Length: 98 inches, blusher: 30 inches.

The Cara Gown is made from a luxurious heavy weight 100% silk satin. The top of the dress features a modern high neckline, with a deep V back and a fitted short sleeve. The twist front is created using a Japanese form of pattern making.

The top attaches to the skirt along the back waist to give the look of a top and skirt with the practicality of dress.

The skirt sits high on the waist and the cutout at front reveals only a slither of skin.

The centre front seam and a split that starts from just above the knee. There is little extra flare in the skirt that gives a beautiful flowing silhouette and leads to a 30cm train.

The beautiful lustre of the silk satin gives this relaxed wedding gown a luxury feel and look.

Alterations

Minimal alterations:
- 2cm taken out of centre front seam at waist
- 1cm off either side hip seams
- Front hem adjusted to height of 180cm
