Bespoke Karen Willis Holmes 'Genevieve' Gown

Worn once, in 2018 and professionally dry cleaned.

Made to order in Perth, Western Australia May 2015.

Size: AUS/UK 6, USA 2

The 'Genevieve' is an elegant lace wrap overlay with delicate lace cap sleeves. It has a modest 'V neck' neckline/opening in the centre of the gown with an inside waist tie. The ivory satin belt around the waist of the gown has an adjustable button for complete versatility. The gown has a small train with intricate applique lace trim.

The overlay does not include a slip unfortunately, as the one offered to me upon purchase overshadowed the delicate design within the lace. It is recommended by KWH that the gown be worn with a slip, and these are not hard to come by or have custom made to suit the overlay.

This really is a stunning gown and is worth every penny!

Alterations

I had some invisible push pins sewn into the dress to ensure it was secure and sit flush against the bust and body. These can be easily moved or removed completely.
