The Dress

This A-Line/Ballgown I purchased online. I sent in my sizes and the dress was made based off of them- closest to a size 8. Liked it but decided to go with a different style. It has a built-in bra and an adjustable part in the top, like the back part of an adjustable strapless bra sewn into the sides that you can tighten to make the top sit more tightly to your chest and hold the dress up. I am a 36B and it fits when I use the sewn-in straps. Could hold larger but wouldn't go smaller than a B cup, unless you put a corset in. I think this dress would work really well with a corset back actually. Underneath are layers of tulle, polyester or satin (not sure which), and then a really pretty top layer of hi-low lace. The lace pattern continues up onto the bust of the dress. The back is a zipper, and it is a little tricky so it's best you have someone help you zip it up so it doesn't get caught on any of the lace.
2nd (up close photo) is the most accurate in terms of color. It's ivory.

Alterations

The dress had a tulle-type petticoat, but I cut it out to make the dress less heavy and less hot. You cannot see it at all and does not affect the look, feel, or wearability of the dress at all.
