The Dress

MONICA GOWN
Inspired by Italian fashion Icon Monica Bellucci and Florentine architecture; the Monica gown features textured embellished tulle hand beaded with clear lustre beads and sequins. Entwined in a linear pattern, it is designed to contour the female form and is hand appliquéd onto layered off-white silk organza.

The gown has a structured bustier style bodice with internal boning, contemporary soft square neckline and mid-low back that flows into a mermaid fit and flare skirt finished with a beautiful crinoline hem, invisible zipper closure and 60cm train.

The Monica gown also features a new CR signature design; the detachable godet train. Designed as an alternative option to the detachable overskirt, this train creates extravagance for the Bride’s ceremony that can then be removed for ease of movement at the wedding reception, without the need of a wrist loop or bustle. It also is an alternative and affordable option for Brides that wish to have two looks for their special day.

Dress sample has been handcrafted in Melbourne and is the only one of this design in existence as a couture piece. Dress measures 120cm from the waist to floor.
