The Dress

Hello future bride!

Firstly congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Thank you for looking at my Rosa Clara dress which is from the 2016 collection. I bought this new from Chistlehurst Bridal in London for my wedding in 2017. I had it dry cleaned afterwards and put in a box designed to keep it good as new .

I am selling now as it seems so sad for it to be put away never to be seen again. I have only a son so no daughter to pass on to and it really is so beautiful it should be worn again and given another chance to sparkle and shine on someone’s big day.

The condition is like new. The label states size 12.

I had a slight addition made to the dress as I was on the bigger side of 12 by the time the wedding came so the bridal shop added a bow at the back that just does up with a popper (at the bottom of where you lace up the back)so there was no gap. There was no issue with the rest of lacing up the back. You may have no need for this as it laces up with no gap but you are covered either way so it’s quite a handy addition. I would call it an added bonus rather than an alteration! The bow looks as if it was always meant to be there .

Inside the corset top it is structured, lots of support and holds in really well. Has a bit inside that clips up like a bra strap then the corset gets laced up.

What I love about this dress is the dropped waist with the beautiful detail around the waistline of sparkles and lace . The layers of tulle fall so delightfully, there are layers and layers of it . The back hem of the dress is longer than the front which means you have a train behind, this is not big so you can move with ease.

It is a stunning combination of elegance and fairytale and feels just that wearing it-sculptured with added wow factor.

Alterations could be made if there’s anything you’d like to add or change I’m sure, if required.

The above measurements are not my current one as I am heavier now . They are the approximate at the time I got married.

I am selling this for £375 . I realise it is worth more but I want it to be affordable for someone else and the joy it brought me I wish to pass on without a huge price tag.

This may be from the 2016 collection but the exquisite design and artistry give it a timeless quality that will never go out of date.

Alterations

As mentioned above the gorgeous bow at the back where the corset ends . I personally think the bow only enhances its overall beauty.
