The Dress

Beautifully detailed with Alencon lace and a dazzling crystal belt, the fitted bodice of this bridal ballgown perfectly compliments the tulle skirt. Wide hem-lace adds an extra touch of drama and romance. Covered button detail accents the back. Beaded belt is included. The colour as per the designer is light gold with an ivory tulle and lace overlay.

I had a beautiful silk bow made by a professional wedding dress designer/seamstress. It attaches to the back of the dress where the belt meets together. There are two tiny hooks on the inside of the bow which attach onto the belt. I had it made as a 'removable' bow just in case I sell it to someone who doesn't like the bow. I also had the same seamstress attach the belt to the dress so that it didn't slip and twist around. She also added a bustle so that the train of the dress could be bustled up for the reception (looked gorgeous and made our first dance much easier). These minor alterations/embellishments cost me an additional $460.

As for the fit, I am a size 6-8 AU and this dress fits me perfectly. I wore an A-Line tulle hoop underneath to give the dress a fuller look. The train looked beautiful as I walked down the aisle and really accentuated the gorgeous beaded lace detail around the bottom of the dress. I found that it had the perfect amount of sparkle from the crystal beading on the bodice and the hem-lace without being too over-stated.

The dress has obviously been worn once at my wedding and is in a fantastic condition. Has not been dry cleaned. Sorry no returns/refunds.
