The Dress

I loved my Kin Gown from the moment I saw it and tried it on in store. The gown is comfortable, elegant, and flows beautifully with movement. The halter design secures in the back of neck with two sets of button options. It even has built-in padding, which I love! My absolute favorite thing about this dress is the gorgeous self-tie bow in the back - the perfect size and structure! I originally bought this for my reception dress because of how it would move for our First Dance. However, I ended up changing my mind because I wanted a slit for my dancing dress.

The Duchess satin is gorgeous and I felt so timeless and elegant in it. The gown is new and unaltered, and the only time I wore it was when I picked it up from the store after I had special ordered it (see pictures). There are a few faint marks (see video) on the bottom of the left bow tail fabric, and the bottom back hem - these were from my in-store try on upon pickup. In my photos, the gown was a little loose on me because I was in between a size 2 and 4, so the sales associate recommended to buy a size 4 so that I could alter it down to fit my body better. Note that I have never made any alterations to this dress. I did not wear heels in the photos but I was standing on an elevated stand and I am 5'3". At the time of purchase, the sales order noted that the fabric was called "Duchess Satin" and the color of the dress was called "Oyster."
