The Dress

I absolutely never felt as beautiful in a dress as I did in this stunning, glimmering, beautifully beaded, ivory colored Oleg Cassini. This is a timeless, strapless, trumpet dress that will make you look and feel amazing. It photographs like a dream in both color and black and white. I feel guilty keeping this dress safely tucked away in my closet. My hope is that someone else will love it and feel as beautiful in it as I did.

Strapless, ivory colored, trumpet tulle over satin dress with exquisite beading, extremely flattering neckline and low scoop back in size 14. Back of the dress is professionally altered to replace buttons with a corset back to further enhance the flexible fit. It was a dream of mine to pass this dress down to a child, but cancer made that impossible. Dress was professionally dry cleaned, but will need to be pressed again. All of the spots were also professionally treated, however there are a few spots at the lower hem and back and I have provided photos as well as video to identify these. I have a cathedral veil with beaded crystal edging; however, there is a tear 13” from the bottom and 93” down from the top. It could easily be fixed with applique or by slightly shortening it. I will include it with the dress if you are interested but because my mother is a professional photographer, we have use for it if not. Other available add-ons for additional shipping cost include the shoes the dress was hemmed for, an unused stunning size 12 Demetrios black bridesmaid dress (she got pregnant:) and a grandmother/mother of the bride’s dress in size 18W. I would include these as add-ons if you are interested in any of them, but for the safety of the wedding dress, would need to ship them separately and this would be an additional shipping fee. I can only ship this dress and the add-ons to the continental USA.

Alterations

As mentioned, the back of the dress was professionally altered to have a corset with built in modesty panel for flexibility to get a perfect fit. Bustling hooks were added. And there is a slight tear in the tulle at the hooks.

Dress was hemmed for my height of 5’6” with 2” kitten heels. If you are my height and wear size 8, I have the shoes this dress was hemmed for and would include them for separate shipping cost.
