The Dress

I am selling my beloved wedding dress designed by the London based fashion house, Emilia Wickstead. I absolutely loved this dress. It was classic yet contemporary, structured, with perfectly-tailored clean lines. I continue to receive many compliments for this gown!

The dress is made with traditional duchess satin silk from Italy (considered to be the most luxurious of all fabrics, and also one of the most expensive) and features a boat neck and scooped back with a flattering A-line skirt, cinched waist and back godets which gave beautiful movement to the dress.

This stunning gown is in perfect condition. Was worn in two wedding ceremonys during the marriages and dry-cleaned with care (350€) immediately after the wedding. It is being carefully stored in its original garment bag in Aalborg, which is where it will be shipped from. And, I have the original measurements from Emilia Wickstead that I can share.

When I was looking for my dress, I avoided “bridal trends” as they can quickly change and I wanted something timeless, sophisticated, understated and elegant that I will continue to love in the years that follow. If you feel the same way, you will love this dress.

Emilia Wickstead’s designs are often seen on the red carpet with celebrity clientele ranging from royalty (Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle) to Hollywood A-listers (Emma Watson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Selena Gomez) and to the very cool (Alexa Chung, Kate Bosworth, Poppy Delevingne and Gigi Hadid).

the veil was custom made in Paris using French silk tulle that matched the ivory colour of the gown. I wanted a wider comb with smaller pleats to compliment the godets at the back of the dress which I could not find in bridal stores. The veil is 2.5m and cost 350€. I can include the veil if needed.
