The Dress

CORSET: 2017 Watters Mayne corset in ivory with crystal, pearl, sequin, and lace detail. Original size at the time of purchase in 2022 was US 8, but was carefully (and expensively!) custom-tailored to fit a size US 0 to the measurement specifications listed above. Retail price: $1,620.

SKIRT: 2020 Wtoo Effie skirt in ivory with layers of horsehair tulle forming an A-line silhouette. Original size when purchased in 2022 was US 4, but was altered to fit a size US 0 to the measurements listed below. The skirt also has a custom bustle, so the small train can be taken up for ease of movement when dancing, etc. Retail price: $1,150

I am a US size 0 (street size), was 110 lbs and 5'4" at the time I wore the dress, with a bra measurement of 32D. Once altered, the corset and skirt fit me perfectly and was flattering and comfortable to wear all day. I wore the skirt on top of the corset, but it can be worn either way.

Alterations

Corset was altered from a US 8 to a US 0 to fit the following measurements:
Bust: 32"
Waist: 26"
Hip: 34"

Skirt was altered to slim the waist and bustled. Now, with my measurements (listed again below) hits at the smallest part of the waist and falls to the floor with no extra overhang at the bottom when wearing 3" heels.
