The Dress

This stunning wedding dress has a fitted, brocade top (waist and above) and satin bottom. It has iridescent sequins in patterns over the entire top. The sleeves are long and sheer lace. They have stitched patterns of sequins which cover a lot of the sleeve. The sleeves do not go around hands/fingers in any way, only ending in a sequin trimmed point on the back of the hand. The satin bottom has amazing work on the front which incorporates many sequins. The cutouts at the bottom of the dress, in the back, are sheer and trimmed in sequins. The back of the dress can easily be bustled for dancing.
This dress is very fitted on top. At the time, I was a larger girl: I wore size 22 pants and all clothing was a comfortable 2X. I weighed 235# in these photos and was 5’7” tall. I wore ballet flats with it so minimal height alterations were made.
The dress was purchased, and altered, at David’s Bridal. It is very beautiful and sparkles as you move! Please keep in mind that, because of all the sequins and stitching, the dress has some weight to it. These photos don’t do this dress true justice. I can provide more photos upon request.

Alterations

The alterations were minimal; only being taken in at the waist slightly. The dress was a very good fit from the beginning.
