The Dress

I ordered and purchased this gorgeous gown, Lumi, from Grace Loves Lace before my pregnancy and won’t be able to wear it on my wedding day.
This gown has never been worn, and has never been altered. It was made to measure but is considered a standard size Medium according to Grace Loves Lace sizing and standards.
Exclusively designed ivory stretch lace with a floral design and dimensional pearlescent thread. It is lined, and has inserted regular cups (My standard cup size at the time of my first fitting was a 12B).
This gown has the most beautiful figure-hugging silhouette and a really flattering V-neckline, an open back with scallop lace edging, with an unlined lace panel with decorative lace-covered buttons.
It has a really pretty side front split with scalloped lace edging also.
The straps are wide lined lace and there’s an under bust seam which provides really nice, comfortable support whilst still accentuating your bust and décolletage in a really elegant way.
The train length is 80cm with a finger loop and bustle, and also features a double layer tulle train overlay.

As it has never been worn, only tried on, it is still in it’s Grace Loves Lace packaging (beautiful white box with white satin ribbon), with care instructions, it’s Grace Loves Lace clothes bag and matching Grace Loves Lace wooden and embossed coat hanger.

I can honestly say I love everything about this dress. I felt so beautiful and elegantly sexy when I tried it on. And I never feel that way in any item of clothing. It compliments every curve so perfectly and whilst it is figure hugging it is truly so comfortable to wear. There’s a nice amount of stretch with the lace fabric, there are no zippers, buttons, boning or underwire and you can slip it over your head with ease on your own. The way I felt trying Lumi on, is how I believe you dream of feeling on your wedding day. I would choose this gown 1000 times over! It’s a shame I won’t be able to enjoy it for my day, but I would love for someone else to feel just as beautiful in it, and actually get the wear out of it and do it justice.
