The Dress

Wore this for a beach & indoor wedding in April 2023 and had it dry cleaned professionally straight away to keep best quality (see photo for blue receipt - I can provide further evidence if needed). Spent £100 on dry cleaning.

2019 (?) Rembo Styling 'Good Vibes' style (can be easily googled) - I purchased this as the standard size 12 size, but I had it altered (see description below for full details) to change top half to size 10. Bottom half still size 10-12. Very flattering fit around the waist with decorative lace trim and the best part is the lace panel that skirts the bottom of the dress (not often seen on wedding dresses) which is beautiful when you walk. The bottom half of dress is loose flowing. Crepe material and very light-weight, with a single layer. Perfect for hotter weddings and dancing in the evening - also very comfortable for eating! Ideal for a wedding abroad as it packs down quite small when travelling and can be easily steamed.

Given that it was a beach wedding, the lace panel at the bottom 1-2cm is slightly discoloured due to wet rocks. Most of the damage came out during the dry cleaning but it is not back to bright white as I originally purchased. See photo. If this really bothered you, you could re-hem the dress to remove that bottom 1 -2cm, however I do not think it is that noticeable when you have the dress on. The rest of the dress looks perfect again and no marks/stains.

Please see my measurements but let me know if you want any further dimensions for the dress itself - 38cm from left seam at the waist (smallest part of the dress where lace panel is) to the right seam.

Includes the original Rembo Styling tags, a long pin to help fix the buttons on the back, and blue receipt of dry cleaning. Dress has been kept away from sunlight (to avoid fabric fading) and has a dress bag & dry cleaning plastic to keep it clean.

Alterations

Professional dress tailor made the following modifications to change the top half from size 12 to size 10:
-Few inches drawn in on the side seams around chest - now measures approx 38cm from left seam at the waist (smallest part of the dress where lace panel is) to the right seam.
-Straps shortened slightly to allow dress fit better to the chest and waist
-Bust cups inserted to lift up (see photos - these might need to be stitched on again at the inner point. some loose stitching). You could easily remove these if not needed as has minor stitches.

Additional:
-the train of the dress was shortened as I wanted it to be 'skim the floor' length. It still has a very minor flare at the back though. This was done by shortening the top edge of the lace panel, rather than trimming off the bottom edge (i.e. hem) of the lace - I wanted to retain the width of the beautiful lace panel at bottom.
-included a 'something blue' little tag inside the dress (not externally visible though)
-included an extra button on the back at bottom of the button line.

I have had this dry cleaned since wedding, but no further alterations have been made.
