The Dress
I happened to fall in love with this dress when I had gone into a local shop just to figure out my silhouette preference. I hadn't even started planning the wedding yet! I just felt gorgeous and magical, especially after having my first child less than a year before this.
The dress fit nicely and was really comfortable to wear all night- choosing a dress with straps contributed to this for me. I love the detailing, I love the quality.
Since we were already married, this dress was worn at our reception event only. The night flew by and the dress held up perfectly. It has since been dry cleaned and is ready to go for the next bride to love and feel beautiful in on their special day.
Alterations
The dress was hemmed to just hit the floor in the front. (I'm 5'5 and wore 3-4 inch heels)
Added hooks where the buttons are in the back to prevent any rips/tears.
Added bustle with 7/8 hooks.
Altered the front cleavage area with extra fabric from the dress because it ended up being too low cut for me.
Spent $840 on these alterations.
