The Dress

This is an Allure Bridal collection (no tag on dress) and unsure on the material (I believe Mikado). It’s heavy with an under layer and a long train. I’m 5’8” (without shoes) and did not wear heels on my wedding day, so this dress would be good for someone shorter than 5’8” if you intend to hem/alter or wear heels.

I did have this professionally cleaned and it’s protected in a bag with no yellowing. It will need to be stemmed again due to some wrinkles from being in the bag.

The open back and big bow in the back adds some flare in the back with a timeless look in the front. I loved this dress because it was comfortable and easy to move around in, though a little bit heavy (not horrible). The dress fit great and did not move all day!

The dress is in good condition with a few defects:
- missing 1 button on the back (can be hidden with the long bow strings or replaced)
- missing bustle button in the middle (can be replaced, though the other bustle buttons are still in the place and sturdy)
- one cup insert is coming undone and needs to be stitched again (not ripped)
- There is a very small stain on one of the bow strings at the bottom
- slightly stained on the seams at the bottom of the dress from walking on wedding day but not evident and easily hidden (can be altered/hemmed to remove stains)

I am hoping to find a great home for this dress to have another party! Our wedding day was such a highlight and I hope to have someone enjoy it too!

Alterations

- Bustle added
- Cups inserted (one needs to be restitched)
- Hemmed at bottom for height (I am [removed] and it reaches right at the tip of my toes
