The Dress

Isn't this dress stunning?! Made in Australia, and then hand-beaded, this dress features an open neck, keyhole back, sheer long sleeves, and art deco beading. It balances the perfect amount of openness with coverage, giving elegant and sophisticated vibes. The cut of the dress flatters the silhouette of the body, emphasising an hourglass shape.

It was the first dress I tried on and nothing else compared. It's a work of art. Is it the one for you too?

Things to note:
- I wore this for my wedding in March 2023 (before changing into a dancing outfit).
- It hasn't been dry cleaned because there are no marks on it and it doesn't smell. Obviously you can choose to do this if you wish. Or if you want, I can initiate this process, but the cost will increase to reflect the cleaning fee.

Alterations

This is a size 10, however, I got some alternations made prior to wearing it (at a cost if $675NZD). The alterations included:
- taking in the sides of the waist (because I am more like an 8 in the top half of my body and a 10 on the bottom half)
- adding a bustle (this means you can carry the weight of the skirt part of the dress and move around with greater ease)
- added cups to the bust (this meant that I didn't have to wear a bra with it)
- put a gusset under each armpit to make sure that when I put my arms up in the air, the sleeve fabric didn't carry the weight of the dress). These sections are not noticable, but if you really don't like this, I can get these sections beaded over.
