The Dress

This romantic dress is champagne satin, with an ivory lace bodice, which is structured but not restricting. While this is a strapless dress, I didn't need to wear a bra - very secure and comfortable.

The full skirt has layers of pink champagne and platinum tulle (dusty pinky and blue/silver hues). It has a zip closure and champagne satin buttons. There is the option to bustle the skirt, a great idea for when it's time to dance!

The dress can be altered to include a corset back. An extra yard of the satin comes with the dress to make this possible.

The changes to the belt and additional lace applique, make this a truly one of a kind gown and I felt so special wearing it.

Some of the buttons (4) are missing and there is a small light yellow stain on the back due to flower pollen. There are some small holes in the tulle near the hemline. Photos showing these imperfections can be provided. This is reflected in the proposed price.

I've handwashed it, but not dry cleaned.

Alterations

The champagne satin belt was raised

20 ivory lace appliques (identical to those on the bodice) were sewn to create a cascading affect down the tulle skirt
I had a set of detachable sleeves made using tulle and lace appliques that matched those on the bodice

The dress was hemmed to suite my height.
