Ideal for the bride looking to make a style statement on her wedding day, this sexy lace wedding dress from Martina Liana is a stunning, head-turning style. Natural, illusion lace adorns the bodice of this gown with built-in soft cups, creating a sexy, sheer look that also has an air of sophistication. Illusion tulle - matched to your skin tone - continues up into straps, adding an element of support to the gown, while giving the illusion of a strapless neckline. The lace pattern continues slightly onto the sleek, Bellagio crepe skirt and is repeated again at the hem, in a scalloped-lace pattern. The back of this lace gown is completely illusion tulle, giving the appearance of an open back, and is adorned with fabric-covered buttons that extend down the skirt and to the end of the court train.

The dress fit like a glove and I felt beautiful in it. It was comfortable and light enough for all-day wear and the long court train made me feel like royalty coming down the aisle. It also has a small loop for you to tie up the train for the reception.

The dress has been dry cleaned by Specially Cleaned Wedding Dress Dry Cleaners and there is one minor flaw on the front close to the side stitch line, a tiny bit of ruffling which is hardly noticeable and should be easy to fix. Other than that, the dress is in a very good condition.

Alterations

Initial alterations were done by the store where the dress was purchased, Paisley Bridal (Queens, New York) to the back illusion tulle. A final set of alterations was done by Tying the Knot Bridal (Cape Town) to shorten the length of the dress for my height (169cm with +-10cm heels) and to tighten the illusion lace bodice to give that strapless neckline effect more standout.
