The Dress

Absolutely gorgeous Justin Alexander Carlee wedding dress available. This dress is an ivory colored tulle and organza skirt with light ivory lace floral appliques. I knew when I first tried it on this was my dress, and I was so happy in it on my day, but hope to pass it along so someone else can feel beautiful and confident for their wedding.

I have seen this dress time and time again on different Instagram/bridal photo shoots. Each time it looks different and flatters the wearer. It lends well to a variety of themes and venues and is so fun and flowy to dance in.

Unfortunately, it rained like crazy and the dress got muddy and ripped. There are two small areas that have been repaired with additional floral lace appliques. One that ripped before the wedding which we could only assume was from zipping it up in the dress bag. The other happened during the wedding from me stepping on it. There are some slight areas of the hem that are frayed due to being outdoors and the weather. They are hardly noticeable and for anyone under 5'10"/5'9" it is likely these could be tacked or removed completely.

It has been thoroughly dry cleaned, but does have some very slight staining due to the mud. It is barely recognizable unless you are looking right at and it is only on the lower hem areas (see photo).

It was altered to a US size 16/18 top, 18/20 bottom, but the skirt is wide and would likely accommodate a street size 20/22 pant size.

I added the organza above the sweetheart neckline for modesty. I am sure that could be removed, but I felt like it looked natural on the dress. I did have a 3 point bustle added, 1 or 2 of which broke which is why I stepped on the dress. This can be fixed, and my seamstress recommended I let the next owner deal with that, as the bustle would likely need to be changed based on the next wearer's height.

leg slit was shewn shut, 3 point bustle added (needs repair), organza on neckline, 2 added floral appliques. Detachable sleeves intact with buttons for removal or wear.
