The Dress

I wore this gorgeous dress for only 2 hours inside of San Francisco City Hall. It's dry cleaned and there was one small clear skirt button that popped off when I was putting it on (it kept the tulle skirt together near the waist), which we got fixed by the wedding gown restoration service at the dry cleaners (Elegance Preserved). It comes with detachable spaghetti straps that I took off and got the custom tulle off-shoulder straps that are in the photos. You can wear this dress sleeveless, with the original spaghetti straps, or with the tulle off-shoulder straps like I did. I have all the straps and all the scrap fabric from when they altered the dress, the original size was an 8 (bust 34.5", waist 26", hips 37.5"), I can include that if you need to go up in alterations for any reason. I felt like an absolute princess wearing this dress, and I don't have any siblings or kids so I hope someone else can enjoy it too! The fabrics are Silk Zibeline, Royal Organza, and Tulle. Sorry guys! No one messaged me for a while so I have the gown to a consignment store (Emerald City Gowns, Berkeley CA). If you’re still interested feel free to try it on there. Otherwise I’ll update the listing if they sell it or if I get it back in 6 months.

Alterations

The alterations included making the bust smaller (30.5"), the waist smaller (23"), and shortening the length of the skirt (I was about 5'11" standing up with my heels on).
