The Dress

The Vera Wang Esther Wedding Gown is more than just a dress; it's the only piece that made me feel like a bride in every sense. In a sea of a hundred other dresses, this was the one that truly made me feel like I was getting married. The romantic and classic charm of this dress, part of Vera Wang's highest-end 'Luxe' and classic collection, is something to behold.

This ethereal gown is a testament to timeless beauty with a modern twist. Layers of delicate Chantilly lace appliqué gracefully adorn layers of soft tulle, creating a mesmerizing effect. The cathedral-length train, embellished with detailed buttons from top to bottom, adds a touch of elegance that takes your breath away.

The dress also comes with a horsehair bow belt, although I chose not to use it. The Esther dress even graced the screens in the CW show "Gossip Girl," worn by Blaire Waldorf, and it's inspired by the iconic Grace Kelly.

One of my favorite aspects of this dress is its soft, not overly dramatic A-line silhouette. But what truly stole my heart is the multi-layered soft lace of flowers. When you stand at the ceremony surrounded by soft florals, this dress becomes a part of something truly magical, effortlessly matching the romantic ambiance. It's incredibly lightweight, allowing you to be yourself and move gracefully throughout the day.

Overbust: 31 ¾”, Bust: 32 ½”, Underbust: 28 ¾”, Waist 24 ¾”, High Hip 30”, Low Hip: 35”

Condition:
I wore it for just an hour at the ceremony and another hour for an in-studio photoshoot. The bottom may need some cleaning due to dirt, and there's a minor scratch and damage at the very bottom of the lace, which should be able to be fixed or altered. Other than that, the dress is in excellent shape from top to bottom.

Please note that the veil seen in the pictures was hand-made by a dear friend and is not included in the dress. Additionally, you'll find four extra buttons for added peace of mind.

Alterations

This dress is one of a kind, made to order, I customized the neckline design with additional hand-sewn Vera Wang lace.
