The Dress

This beautiful dress is ivory coloured.
I bought it from Ferrari Bridal half price, for $1750, in 2020, as an AU 10.

Full ball gown style dress with train, lace overlay, crystal beading at the waist.

Invisible zip at the back with decorative buttons.

The train has a ribbon loop to hoop onto the decorative buttons and create a 'bustle' if the train needs to be out of the way.

As I am 160cm and was an AU size 6, it was altered by a very clever dressmaker to hem it to the right height and bring in the back and side.

The cups were still a bit big on me, and one could wear higher heels or would work for someone slightly taller, as it was still a bit long on me, especially on the grass.

It has been dry cleaned and kept in a clean, dry, pet and smoke free environment since then.

One (decorative) button at the back came off throughout the course of the day, but could be replaced.

I also have a beautiful lightweight champagne veil with delicate beading for sale, that matched perfectly.

Absolutely loved this dress and hope somebody else does too!

Alterations

Hemmed the bottom and restitched the lace on to maintain the scalloped finish.
Brought in the side and at the back.
