The Dress

I fell in love with this dress the second I tried it on in a bridal boutique in Amsterdam. I had heard of this feeling but didn't think it would happen to me. After I said Yes to the Dress it was specially made for me by St.Patrick La Sposa in Barcelona.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand. Anyone who lives locally, you are welcome to try it on before buying and I hope the same feeling will happen for you :)

My dress (and the entire wedding) was an absolute dream come true, and I received so many compliments on the dress.

The dress is a ball gown style with many layers and tulle for texture and flare with lace details from the bodice down to the skirt. The detail of this dress is so stunning!! It is sewn from embroidered lace and additionally decorated with 3D flowers and embroidery. It is exactly like the photos.

I am especially obsessed with the gorgeous illusion backing and the long line of buttons.

The dress comes with a beautiful handmade long veil with flower detail embroidery along the entire edge. The veil is a simple comb attachment that easily slides into your hair.

The dress also comes with a bridal hoop skirt with mesh and two hoops, which puffs up the wedding dress skirt and makes it easy to walk in the dress.

Cups were added and a hook was added at the back of the dress to lift the train after the ceremony.

This dress is suitable for smaller brides size 6 and 8.

The dress has been housed in a bridal dress bag in a dark closet with no exposure to the sun and the colour still looks the way it did when I wore it.

The dress has been dry-cleaned and is in perfect condition.
