The Dress

Hera Couture Vivienne Gown 

-Mikado Silk
-Straight, strapless/off the shoulder neckline with folded fabric which then transitions into bow at the back

-Corseted bodice

-Zip at back with pearls down full length of back/train
-Thin waistband which flares into an A-line full skirt.
-Pockets

-High overlapped split on skirt

Purchased from White Lily Couture in Brisbane and worn once for our wedding in April 2023. The dress has been dry cleaned by a specialist bridal dry cleaning service ($450). This dress was extremely versatile. I wore it with the off the shoulder sleeves for the ceremony and then took them off for the reception. It's in near perfect condition with some minor light marks to the inside lining where the train hit the ground. Any questions please let me know. Alterations

Alterations by a bridal seamstress in Brisbane: 

Hera Couture size 16 initially

-Altered around bust to fit a size 10/12
-Length adjusted. I am 165cm and wore 5cm tall heels.
-The bodice was taken in and some boning was removed.

-Originally had leg split to waistband. Seamstress added a hidden stitch at upper thigh to prevent skirt flying open completely in the wind - can easily be unstitched. 

-Bustle added
