The Dress

This dress was an absolute dream! It was comfortable, fit like a glove, and got me so many compliments! There is see through mesh between the V neckline and on sides of gown for a more secure feeling, and the train has buttons all the way from the back to the end, with a hidden zipper to easily put the dress on.

The dress was professionally dry cleaned, but shows signs of wear. I got married outdoors and some of the dirt stains didn't come out with a single dry clean - seems to me that the stains can be removed if brought to the dry cleaners a second time. I also danced the night away in the dress (chose not to change into a second look) so the dress shows signs of that: the front band isn't fully secure and the bustle ties ripped off, but both can be easily fixed.

Alterations

Worked with Alzira Hermes Studio in NYC, premiere wedding dress seamstess and the go-to alterations business for Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, and Vera Wang. The dress was altered to fit my height with 2" heels and was also adjusted at the waist, bust, and straps to properly fit my body. Alterations cost $1000, which is reflected in the retail price of the dress.
