The Dress
I absolutely fell in love with this dress trying it on in the boutique; its gorgeous leafy detailing feels so ethereally and effortlessly beautiful, with just a touch of sparkle from some strategically placed sequins. I love the way the skirt flows, and how it cinched my waist just right. I felt like a true goddess in this dress.
As I tried on the much larger sample size in the store, I was concerned about how low the back would be (I did not want a low back.) Unfortunately, the smaller non-sample size had an even lower back than I thought, and after having it altered, I decided I was ultimately unhappy with how low the back was set on my body. It absolutely fits the dress appropriately, but it wasn't what I wanted for my wedding day. So while this dress has been altered once, it has never been worn.
Alterations
The waist was taken in slightly. Cups were added to the bust for a comfortable, braless experience. Several inches were also taken off of the hem (I am 5'8" and was wearing 3" heels.)
