The Dress
This is the most beautiful Monique Lhuillier dress! It has 3D flowers all over the skirt and, while heavy, was so easy to wear. I actually had it converted in the back to a lace up so that it should fit pretty much anyone! We also added a jeweled belt that gave it a more natural waistline while adding some bling. I honestly could not have felt more like a princess in this gown. I don't love the thought of getting rid of it, but it absolutely deserves more life than just one day. I'm hoping we'll be able to find a new owner who will appreciate and love it as much as I do.
Alterations
It was hemmed a bit. I'm 5'6" and wore 4" heels. The biggest alterations, however, are shown in the pictures. This dress was originally a zipper back but it was too small for me. My wonderful seamstress put a corset back in it. Honestly, it's better with the back anyway because you can lace it up to mold to your personal body shape. We also added the jeweled belt.
