The Dress

I fell in love with this dress because it was nothing like what I thought I wanted, but I put it on and it just fit my personality so well. The fitted, lace, off the shoulder, ivory bodice is detailed with embroidery, beads and sequins. The 6 layer skirt begins at the waist, with 2 blush/nude underskirts and 4 sheer ivory layers, with the embroidery detailing gradually dispersing down the front of the gown and train. The zip fastening is on the back, finishing just above the waist followed by a sheer back and buttons leading to the top. Because of the ivory and blush fabrics, the dress appears change between the two colours in different lights, which showed up wonderfully on our wedding photos. I hope this dress gives you as much joy as it gave me. I had the dress professionally cleaned in December 2023, and my wedding was in October 2022.

Alterations

I had the sleeves taken in slightly to offer more support in the bust and the length was altered to suit. I am 5ft6 and wore 3 inch heels. Larger cups were also instered in place of the original cups.
