The Dress

Selling my beautiful unworn and unaltered 'Emmy' gown by Morilee (Style 12138).

This dress was never worn or even altered, because I decided to go for a less figure-hugging style in the end. Nonetheless, it is pure elegance (reminiscent of a certain royal wedding) and I would love the dress to have its moment on a beautiful, classic bride.

Featuring a crepe bodice with a modest bateau neckline and a beautiful satin skirt, the gown feels classically modern with its architectural details. The defined waist seams help to give a cinched look, and the open v-shaped back is gorgeous. The dress is simple, clean, and classic.

Size: Morilee size 6 (Bust: 34 inch; Waist: 25.5 inch; Hips 37.5 inch). I am normally a AUS size 6-8, but this dress still felt roomy and I would have needed alterations. I am also very tall (175cm and approximately 180cm in heels) and the dress in its unaltered form is quite long (I would have shortened it), so it's suitable for taller ladies and also able to be shortened.
